SAABA — Nadia Selmer
Selmer builds a world of pulses and silhouettes. Amir Doron's music blends a continuous beat with fragments of familiar melodies, creating a soundscape that slips away the moment you think you have grasped it.
The costumes, by Camille Estève, wrap the dancers in torn lace: a fragile fabric worn by bodies that are anything but. The piece drives forward without ever letting the tension drop.
Minus 16 — Yoav Lerner
The exact opposite: a celebration. Raw energy, humour, directed improvisation, and a large ensemble that asks total emotional openness of every dancer.
Created in 1999, the piece draws standing ovations wherever it goes. Its high spirits are deliberately contagious — and the audience rarely ends the evening sitting down.
